Saints Fall in First Round

Saints Fall in First Round

In their first season competing in the GICAA, the Saints came up short of reaching their goal of a state championship. After a convincing win on Friday night, the Saints could not overcome early deficits to secure the much needed second win in the series. The visitin Warriors of New Creation Christian Academy won a hotly contested game two 9-7 and then secured the pivotal game three convincingly 7-3. Coach Reynolds described the lose as a "disappointing result" as the team could never quiet get a strong foothold to push for a win.

The Saints can hold their heads high after a strong end of the regular season and putting up a good fight to keep the season alive. Saints baseball will say goodbye to five seniors. JFCA is deeply proud of its seniors for their contributions to the program. Next year the Saints will reload with a hungry young crop of players ready to contribute and compete.
