Varsity Baseball Advances to State Tournament

With a regular season record of 9-7, Saints baseball secured region runner-up title and a two seed heading into the GICAA State Tournament. With the school year coming quickly to a close, the varsity baseball team has been gaining moment each week leading into the playoffs. Key victories over local rivals have set the stage for a strong push deep into the playoffs after winning 6 of their last 8.    

East Cobb is known for great baseball and the Saints look to uphold that reputation as they play host to New Creation Christian Academy out of McDonough. The Warriors of NCCA enter the playoffs with an 11-8 record and won an early season matchup against the Saints by a score of 6-4.    

Game one will be held Friday April 28th at the Saints home field at 3 PM at Mt. Paran North in Marietta, GA. Game Two will be held on Saturday April 29th at noon with game three immediately following if necessary. Come out and support your Saints as they begin their campaign for a state championship!
